So recently, thanks to my dad, I found this really cool website called Hitrecord. This website is really cool because it’s all about art, being creative, and making things with other people in the community. It’s not about “Hey look at me!” it’s about “Hey look at us! We did this!”. This community is focused on creating cool things together; here, you don’t need to worry about copyright. What I mean by that is you’re sharing your work and people in the community can take that work and turn it into something new – a remix.
People can download your footage, instrumental, photographs, etc. and make their own thing from it. That’s one of the cool things about this site you can all create one huge monster of awesome.
So, why am I blogging about it? I wanted to share it with you all because this website challenges you to get creative. Did I mention they have challenges? Yes, art challenges that you can do to sort of push yourself. I’ve been trying to do one everyday and I’ve been obsessed. I’ve really been enjoying getting those creative juices flowing!
Not only does this website make you get creative but you can also get paid from all this creative goodness. If you contribute to certain projects, there’s a chance you’ll be getting paid for your work. Who doesn’t love making a little extra money?
So I highly encourage you guys to get recording on this site! It’s fun and easy I highly recommend checking it out, there’s an awesome introduction video when you first type in the URL too it explains the site even better than I can!

I illustrated the flowers and lettered everything, I’ll probably do a blog post on the process later on but for now here it is!
